China-U.S.A jointly owned company M/s. Oscar Bangla Co., Ltd.
will invest US$ 3.46 million to set up a wig and hair related products manufacturing
plant in Ishwardi Export Processing Zone. Mentionable that along with this
factory the total number of wig and hair related factory stands at 5 in EPZs.
This fully foreign owned company will
produce annually 31.5 million pieces of Wig and Hair related products. 1500
Bangladeshi nationals will get employment opportunity in this factory.
In
presence of Executive Chairman, BEPZA Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP,
SPP, ndc, psc, Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority
(BEPZA) and M/s.Oscar Bangla Co., Ltd. inked the agreement at BEPZA Complex,
Dhaka recently. Mr. Zillur Rahman ndc, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA
and Mr. Sha ShiJun, Managing Director of M/s. Oscar Bangla Co., Ltd. signed the
agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Faruque Alam, Member (Engineering), Mizanur Rahman, Member (Finance), Nazma
Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) and Md. Tanvir Hossain,
General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA were also present at the
signing ceremony.
