Executive Board

The Executive Board ensures BEPZA’s effective management and smooth operation under the guidance of the Board of Governors. It consists of:

  •  A Chairman (Executive Chairman), who also serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BEPZA.
  • Three Members.

All are appointed by the Government

 

Executive Chairman

Short Profile

Major General Abul Kalam Mohammad Ziaur Rahman, BSP, ndc, psc, assumed office as the 17th Executive Chairman of BEPZA on 7 November 2021. A career army officer, he was commissioned in 1989 and has since held various command, staff, and instructional positions, gaining expertise in operations, planning, logistics, and intelligence. He also served as Defence Adviser at a diplomatic mission and took part in UN peacekeeping operations in Haiti and Sudan. With proven leadership and a global perspective, Major General Ziaur Rahman is steering BEPZA to strengthen Bangladesh’s position as a trusted hub for sustainable investment.
