going to expand their business with the investment of US$ 10 million more.
M/s. Giant BD Co Ltd will establish a new unit of shoe
component (injection phylon Midsole) & sports sandal manufacturing industry
in Cumilla EPZ. This company will create new employment opportunity for 500
Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect signed between the Bangladesh
Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s. Giant BD Co Ltd at BEPZA
Complex, Dhaka recently. Mr. Mohammad
Faruque Alam, Member (Engineering) of BEPZA and Kim Byung Jin, Managing
Director of M/s. Giant BD Co Ltd signed the agreement on behalf of their
respective organizations.
Among others, Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public
Relations) and Md. Tanvir Hossain, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of
BEPZA were present during the occasion.
