A 92 members delegation from National Defence College (NDC) led by Lt. General Sheikh Mamun Khaled, SUP, rcds, psc, PhD visited Dhaka EPZ on 22 October 2019. BEPZA Executive Chairman Major General S M Salahuddin Islam BP, SPP, ndc, psc briefed the delegates on overall scenario of BEPZA through PowerPoint presentation. He also highlighted on Industrial friendly peaceful investment climate and harmonious relations among Workers-Owner-Management prevail in the EPZs.
Mentioning Bangladesh EPZs as the ‘Bonanza for Investors’ the Executive Chairman said, “Since inception BEPZA has been working to attract investment in the 8 EPZs. The biggest ever venture of the authority BEPZA Economic Zone which development work is progressing fast. BEPZA will accommodate large scale of investment in BEPZA EZ.”
Later, the delegation visited UK owned enterprise M/s. Talisman (BD) Ltd. and Japanese company M/s. YKK Bangladesh Pte Ltd. They lauded the congenial environment of EPZ.
