Representative of Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Mr. Yuji Ando made
a courtesy call on Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP, SPP, ndc, psc,
Executive Chairman of BEPZA at the latter’s office on 13 October 2020. They
discussed on Different issues related to Japanese investment in the EPZs
including the impact of COVID-19 on Japanese companies in Bangladesh. BEPZA Executive
Chairman sought cooperation of JETRO to attract more Japanese investment in the
EPZs as well as BEPZA Economic Zone. General Manager (IP) of BEPZA Md. Tanvir
Hossain and Director of JETRO SM Shariful Alam were present during this time.
