China is going to set up a leather products industry in Uttara Export Processing Zones. This company to be known as M/s. Kin Selection Products Manufacture (BD).
This 100 % foreign owned company will invest US$ 13.64 million for setting up their plant with annual production capacity about 7.9 million pcs of various leather goods like Wallets, Hand Bags, Purse, Belts, Cosmetics Bag, Stationery Sets, Key Chain, Travel Tab, Evening Bag, Clutch Bag, Ring Key Case, ID Lanyard, Wristlet Pouch and Brief Case. Kin Selection company will create employment opportunity for 6000 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s. Kin Selection Products Manufacture (BD) Ltd. in Dhaka today (13-02-2014) at BEPZA Complex. Mr. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Chow Chi Ho, Managing Director of M/s. Kin Selection Products Manufacture (BD) Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Major General Mohd Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mr. Khandakar Aktaruzzaman, Member (Engineering), Mr. A.Z.M. Azizur Rahman, General Manager (Investment Promotion) and Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) of BEPZA and other officials were present at the signing ceremony.
