China to Invest US$ 9.11 Million in Adamjee EPZ

Chinese company M/s. Cherry Button Limited is going to set up a garments accessories manufacturing industry in Adamjee Export Processing Zone with the investment of US$ 9.11 million.

This fully foreign owned company will produce annually 1440 million pieces button & 50 million pieces zipper. 366 Bangladeshi nationals will get employment opportunity in M/s Cherry Button Limited.

In presence of Executive Chairman, BEPZA Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP, SPP, ndc, psc, Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s. Cherry Button Ltd. inked the agreement at BEPZA Complex, Dhaka recently. Mr. Zillur Rahman ndc, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Ms Ma Miaoyan, Chairman of M/s. Cherry Button Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Mohammad Faruque Alam, Member (Engineering), Md. Hafizur Rahman, Project Director (BEPZA Economic Zone), Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations) and Md. Tanvir Hossain, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA were also present at the signing ceremony.
