BEPZA celebrated 99th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in a befitting manner. Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP, SPP, ndc, psc Executive Chairman of BEPZA along with the employees placed wreath at the mural of great architecture of independence and Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the BEPZA Complex premises, Dhaka on 17 March 2019. Later on discussion meeting, documentary film show and book exhibition was held at the BEPZA Executive Office, Dhaka marking the day.
In the discussion meeting, life and political activities of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu was discussed in details. The program was also includes of screening a documentary film & displaying photographs on his life and work. Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP, SPP, ndc, psc, Mr. Zillur Rahman ndc, Member (Investment Promotion), Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Member (Finance), Mr. Md. Nabirul Islam, Secretary, General Managers of each department including all levels of officers and employees of BEPZA attended the program. Eight EPZs under BEPZA celebrated the day in the same manner like Executive Office. BEPZA Public School & Colleges operated by EPZs also observed the day in a befitting manner including eassy writing and painting competition on Bangabandhu.
