South Korean Company M/s. HKD Outdoor Innovations Ltd is going to expand their business with the investment of US$ 20 million more to establish a new unit of tent & garments manufacturing industry in Karnaphuli Export Processing Zone.
This fully foreign owned company will produce world famous branded tent & tent accessories and readymade garments items like tops, short pant, head wear, neck warmer, lingre, musk, tops etc. M/s HKD Outdoor Innovations Ltd will create employment opportunity for 6700 Bangladeshi nationals.
An agreement to this effect signed between the Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority (BEPZA) and M/s. HKD Outdoor Innovations Ltd at BEPZA Complex, Dhaka today (24/10/2019). Zillur Rahman ndc, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Se Kyu Sun, Chief Operating Officer of M/s. HKD Outdoor Innovations Ltd signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.
Major General S M Salahuddin Islam, BP, SPP, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mohammad Faruque Alam, Member (Engineering), Md. Ashraful Kabir, Chief Engineer, Md. Tanvir Hossain, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Rafat Hussain, Executive Director of HKD Outdoor Innovations Ltd were present at the signing ceremony.
