Promotional seminar held today (29/12/2015) in Adamjee EPZ to attract more investment in the Ishwardi, Uttara and Mongla EPZs located in Northern & Southern region of the country. This seminar organized to enhance investment in these three EPZs.
In the inaugural speech Mr. Md. Shah Alam Sarker, General Manager of Adamjee EPZ briefed over the growing success of the investment, export & employment of the EPZs of the country. He started activities of the seminar through power point and video documentary presentation describing the investment friendly atmosphere existing in the Ishwardi, Uttara & Mongla EPZ. General Manager of Adamjee EPZ urged the investors to avail the opportunity to invest in these three EPZs. He also highlighted tax holiday, reduced rate for land and factory building including other logistic facilities, modern connectivity that is contributing an important role in promoting of Mongla, Ishwardi and Uttara EPZ. The General Manager of the AEPZ showed a pictorial presentation on the working environment of the EPZ especially the world famous international diversified products made by the easily trainable & skilled workers of Bangladesh. Foreign & local investors of the enterprises of Adamjee EPZ, ASP of Industrial Police and Representatives of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BKMEA) were present in the seminar. They praised the organizer to arrange such type of seminar, which gave them an opportunity to know in detail about BEPZA particularly Uttara, Mongla & Ishwardi EPZ.
Among others Mrs. Nazma Binte Alamgir, General Manager (Public Relations), Major Sajjad Hossain Khan, Deputy General Manager (Intelligence), Major Taj Uddin Ahmed, Security Consultant cum Executive of Adamjee EPZ and other officers of the concern zone were present in the seminar.
