A newly
constructed Customs Office Building has been launched at Chattogram EPZ aiming
to ease the doing business to the investors. Major General Md Nazrul Islam,
SPP, ndu, afwc, psc, G, Executive Chairman of BEPZA has inaugurated the Customs
Office Building on 18 January 2021.
The Executive Chairman of BEPZA said that BEPZA is working relentlessly to
offer an investment friendly congenial business atmosphere and through this
step investors will be facilitated with uninterrupted customs services.
From the very beginning customs activities of Chattogram EPZ were being
conducted in different buildings. Now, investors can complete all their customs
related activities in same building which will also be time consuming.
Investors of CEPZ lauded the dedicated efforts of BEPZA to provide one-stop
service by shifting all the customs related activities.
Mohammad Mahbub Hasan, Joint Commissioner of Chattogram Custom House, Santosh
Soren, Assistant Commissioner, Chattogram EPZ Customs Bond Commissionerate,
Moshiuddin Bin Mesbah, General Manager of Chattogram EPZ and local and foreign
investors of CEPZ were present at the inaugural program.
