EPZ Minimum Wage Board recommends 9-10% annual increment for the workers

The EPZ Minimum Wage Board, based on the consensus of the workers and employers group, has recommended to increase the annual increment for EPZ workers from the current 5-10% to 9-10%. Under the new proposal, 50% of workers will must receive a 10% increment, while the remaining will receive 9%-10% depending on performance. No worker will receive less than a 9% increase. The new increment rate will be effective from December 1, 2024.
