China-Taiwan to Invest US$ 6.03 M in Comilla EPZ

China-Taiwanese M/s. McEmblem Manufacturing Co. Ltd. is going to set up metal manufacturing industry in Comilla EPZ.

This company will invest US$ 6.03 million for setting up the plant with annual production capacity of 15.75 million pcs metal label pin, medal, key chain. McEmblem Manufacturing Company will create employment opportunity for 1486 Bangladeshi nationals.

An agreement to this effect has signed between Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority and M/s. McEmblem Manufacturing Co. Ltd. in Dhaka today (14-10-2015) at BEPZA Complex. Mr. Sayed Nurul Islam, Member (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA and Mr. Hung, Chih-Cheng, Managing Director of McEmblem Manufacturing Co. Ltd. signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations.

Major General Mohd. Habibur Rahman Khan, ndc, psc, Executive Chairman, Mr. Md. Shawkat Nabi, Secretary and Mr. Ahsan Kabir, General Manager (Investment Promotion) of BEPZA were present at the signing ceremony.
